The British Kart Championship returns this weekend for the final instalment of the IAME, TKM and Bambino championships at the world-renowned PFi Karting track. Over 180 drivers will descend on the Grantham-based venue to fight for seven coveted 2020 British Kart Championship titles.

Macauley Bishop leads the IAME Cadet class by seven points to Nathan Tye. The pair will battle it out this weekend with the aim of being crowned 2020 champion. The third-place title in the class is also up for grabs with only one point separating Ethan Jeff-Hall and Zachary Knight.

Vinnie Phillips of the Mini X30 class has a large advantage going into this final weekend as he leads the class by 29 points. But the title isn’t his just yet. Currently second in the standings, Vinnie’s team mate, Leo Robinson has his eyes on the prize too.

In the Junior X30 class, Bart Harrison, Joshua Rowledge and Sam Shaw make up the top three contenders in the class but only one can be crowned champion. Harrison currently leads the championship.

Last year’s British Kart Champion, Danny Keirle is back on top of the Senior X30 standings and is hoping to hold on to his title after this weekend’s double header event. Senior X30 vice-champion title is still up for grabs with five points separating current second place driver to fifth place in the standings.

In the TKM Championship, Harvey Cole leads the Junior TKM championship by three points. Challenging Cole to the title is behind him are Alistair Creswell and Louis Harvey. The three drivers will take to the track tomorrow to try to solidify their position in the championship.

TKM Extreme driver Adam Sparrow leads the class by 10 points. A close battle for the vice-championship title sees James Pashley and Theo Hesketh separated by one single point. All three drivers will be returning to the track this weekend with the goal to earn themselves the 2020 title.

One point separates current championship leader Edward Haynes and runner up Finlay Hinds in the Bambino Championship. We’re likely to see the competition heat up during the weekend and it’s anyone’s guess who will be crowned champion in this class.
