Motorsport UK, organiser of the British Kart Championships, is pleased to announce the calendar for the 2021 Honda Cadet Championship.
For the first time, the Honda Cadet class will have full British Championship status and will launch its 2021 campaign in April at the popular Welsh track, Glan y Gors. The Championship will then head south to Mansell Raceway, Devon, before returning north to Larkhall in Scotland.
The penultimate round of the Honda Cadet British Kart Championship will see drivers fight it out at Warden Law, Northumbria before the head-to-head battle at the championship finale at PFI in October – where the 2021 Champion will be crowed.

Motorsport UK Karting Manager, Dan Parker, said: “We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Honda Cadet class will earn themselves a British title for the first time as the series will become a full British Championship in 2021. The class is one of the most popular and competitive cadet classes in the UK, and that’s reflected with the competition on track. Last year, the championship was so close that the champion was decided on the last final of the year and we look forward to more dramatic racing this season!
“With the ongoing demands of COVID-19, safety remains our number one priority. The organising team, along with the venues, will work tirelessly to ensure that we continue to have the correct safety measures in place for every event in 2021. We’d like to thank everyone for their co-operation during the 2020 season and look forward to seeing you this year.”
Registrations will open on February 26th at noon. Please note that numbers are limited in each class and that race numbers are issued on a first come first served basis. To register, visit: https://kartinguk.alphatiming.co.uk/register/series
