The Motorsport UK Wera Tools British Kart Championships are delighted to announce that registrations will open for the highly anticipated 2022 season next week [w/c 14 February].
Using an all-new race management system for the forthcoming year which will also include an on-event app, Britain’s premier Karting championship will stagger the registration dates, dependent on classes, with the Honda Cadet, IAME Cadet and Bambino categories only able to submit their entry on Monday 14th February at noon.
The remaining classes will be staggered over the next five days due to the huge number of enquiries received in recent weeks, competitors are urged to submit their registration in good time to secure a place on the grid in 2022. Places for the Championship are limited and race numbers for the season will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Backed for a second season by leading international tool manufacturer Wera Tools, karters will enjoy an all-new calendar and is set to challenge all contenders in the series, from progressing champions to BKC newcomers.

With the new season fast approaching and anticipation building, Motorsport UK Karting Manager Dan Parker is excited for the new-look calendar to get underway in April.
“The British Kart Championships is one of the most challenging and competitive kart championships in the World. “We have received some really positive feedback from the from the competitors and teams and the 2022 Season is shaping up to be yet another thrilling season of racing,” he says.
