The Motorsport UK Wera Tools British Kart Championships are thrilled to announce the 2023 calendar for the new-look Honda classes.
The popular Honda Cadet category has proven to be one of the most competitive in the British Kart Championships in recent times and next season will be joined by the introduction of the new Honda R200 Inter class. Both categories will battle over five intense events, each using the all-new 950 Cadet/Inter chassis.
Britain’s premier kart series has considered feedback from competitors when creating the calendar and has ensured an exciting schedule of events for the year ahead, visiting a range of top-class and familiar venues across the UK.
Ahead of the BKC season proper, Whilton Mill near Daventry provides Honda drivers with the opportunity to battle for the first title of 2023 as the coveted Honda ‘O/E Plate’ meeting takes place in March.
Meanwhile, Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire hosts the Championship opener for the Honda Cadets in May, before a trip into the heart of Wales and the picturesque GYG Circuit. Here, the new Honda R200 Inter class joins the series for the first time before a natural break for drivers in July.
The series then heads North of the border to Scotland and Larkhall on the August Bank Holiday weekend before heading to Karting North East at Warden Law in September, with the finale scheduled to take place at PF International in October.
