Junior Rotax driver Thomas Bearman has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 4 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at G-Y-G.

 

Chapman was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.

The judges nominated the youngster at the weekend, due to enjoying: “A career best weekend in the BKC, 7th in the final, 6th in the pre final and two top 5 finishes in his heats”

Bearman will be presented with his trophy at the next round of the Rotax season.
