Honda Cadet driver Ryan White has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 10 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at Warden Law.
White was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.
The judges nominated the young karter at the weekend, commenting “What a weekend for White, with a near flawless performance at Warden Law, after a P3 result in heat one, it would be wins for the rest of the weekend. Finishing just over three seconds clear from Spain in the prefinal and a tantalizingly close finish in the final with win a nice chunk of championship points.”
He will be presented with his trophy at the next round of the season at PFi.
